Why Visit
Indian Islands
& The Maldives?
The atolls and islands of the Republic of Maldives are off the coast of Kerala and may be included in a holiday to South India. The Andaman islands are off the east coast of South India. Port Blair is the capital of Andaman and there are daily flights from Chennai. Both island groups offer snorkelling and diving in their coral seas.
The Isalnds offers white coral sand beaches and clear water for snorkelling and diving. Many of the resorts have ‘home reefs’ in their turquoise lagoons. Most of the resorts in the Maldives cater to the luxury end of the market and many have Spas – this is a great place to relax after a tour of India.
