The ramparts of a sixteenth century Portuguese fort enclose the main wing of the hotel. There is a wide choice of rooms (145) in the main building and stylish cottages on the hillside. The choice of restaurants includes Italian, seafood and multi-cuisine. Some of the facilities are situated at the Taj – Holiday Village next door and customers from each hotel are welcome to use the amenities at the other. Both hotels underwent major renovations in 2017.
