The Property
The main building at Rajakkad Estate is an 18th century wooden Kerala house that was moved from its original position in the backwaters of Kerala. The heritage building has courtyards and ponds and the guest bedrooms all have a door both to the inner courtyard and outside to the gardens. Rajakkad is a place to relax – it is rural – surrounded by forests so walking and bird watching are popular activities.
