Lucknow

Lucknow is the state capital of Uttar Pradesh. In the past Lucknow was under the influence of the Mughals and then the British Raj. Today it is a vibrant city experiencing an economic boom and is among India’s top ten fastest growing metropolitan cities. Most of Lucknow’s monuments are spread along the southern bank of the Gomti River including Bara Imambara, Chhota Imambara and The Residency.
