At the fringe of the Badlands of India, Lakshman Sagar was built in the late 19th century as a hunting lodge by the then Thakur of Raipur, Lakshman Singh Ji. It is now a small boutique hotel with just 12 cottages built around the lake.

The Property
Lakshman Sagar is such a unique experience, very quirky, funky with a modern vibe. The bright but rustic cottages are in two locations either side of the lake. Relax by your private plunge pool and watch the numerous peacocks strutting around the lake. Spend time in Zanana & Mardana, the communal areas – where delicious food is served, cocktails can be enjoyed and stars can be gazed.
