Fateh Garh was designed to operate on a reduced need for heating/air-conditioning by making the best use of the sun and wind and 50% of their energy needs are satisfied by their own energy production (windmill and solar panels). Water harvesting means there are ponds in the grounds collecting half a million litres of rainwater and they are committed to being as chemical and plastics free as possible.
