Delhi
Delhi is India’s capital city and has a major airport with good connections to the rest of the world as well as other parts of India. It is consequently often the starting or finishing point of a holiday in North India.
Delhi City
Most people will choose to spend a few days in the city as there is much to do and see, the shopping is good and there is an excellent range of quality hotels to choose from. Places to visit in Delhi include the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Humayun’s Tomb, Lodi Gardens, the Qutab Minar and a wide range of museums, as well as the Lutyens’s government buildings and India Gate. A bicycle rickshaw ride through the busy bazaar at Chandni Chowk is fun and a great way to see the area.

Delhi Airport & District
New Delhi’s Airports are to the South West of the city. The area immediately around the airport where most hotels are located is called Aerocity. Gurgaon is a business and shopping district in this area – so hotels in Gurgaon are also convenient for Delhi Airport. If you have a late flight arrival or early flight departure – consider hotels in this section.
