Bhuj

Bhuj is a city and a municipality in the Kutch district of Gujarat. It was established in 1510 and was made the state capital in 1549. After 1960 Kutch became part of Gujarat State. In January 2001 the city was struck by a major earthquake which caused a great deal of damage and loss of life.
