The Deogarh Mahal is an imposing structure built in the 17th century. It stands on the top of a hill and offers a commanding views of the Aravalli Mountains. Accommodation is in a range of 55 suites and rooms – all are different and stylish.
Deogarh Mahal was converted into a hotel by the Deogarh family, and some of the family members still live in the palace and manage the property. The room types vary in design, size and decoration. The Maharana Suite is spectacular – it’s Sheesh Mahal reflecting light from the mirrored walls and stained glass windows. It is possible to visit Ranakpur (2 hours) and Kumbhalgarh Fort (2.5 hours) as a day trip.
