Bera & Jawai
Bera (a small village) and Jawai (the area) are known for their healthy population of leopards and referred to as “Leopard Country”. Found in the Pali district of Rajasthan, these areas still maintain a more off the grid wildlife experience. The Rabari tribes of Rajasthan are settled in this region. So ‘Leopards’ & ‘Shepherds’ are the highlights when you visit Bera or Jawai. The Jawai Dam is the biggest man made dam in Western Rajasthan which attracts many migratory birds every winter, especially flamingos. So in addition to shepherds and leopards, you can also get to experience good bird life.
