Best holiday ever - hope to go back sometime in the future. Thanks for all your help.
We have many happy memories. The most memorable part was the 2 night stay on the Houseboat and the fantastic scenery/river activity, plus our stay at Dewalokam Retreat, Kodikulam. Their attention to detail and guests was second to none! We recommend seeing the Kathakali and Martial Arts Displays. It was the most wonderful experience and introduction to Southern India. Every part of the holiday was efficiently organised from the booking with Kerala Connections to the attention given once in Kerala. Companion Holidays were most efficient and professional. Our wonderful driver (Sanil) was prompt, polite and informative.
This was a booking made through Responsible Travel.
We had a superb holiday – thank you. The diver, Sunil, inspired the utmost confidence. He was always punctual, estimated times of arrival accurately and gave very good advice. Our visits to the pottery, silk weaving, tile making and bronze casting were all very interesting. The guides were very good. All in all a revelation for us – all three first time visitors to India.
During their time in Mumbai they asked us if we could arrange for them to visit Victoria Station to see the portrait of Josephine’s father who was General Manager there. This visit generated press interest and they featured in an article in the Mumbai Mirror.
We thoroughly enjoyed it all – it was a very, very good holiday. The houseboat was superb and the food very good. Xandari Pearl was thoroughly lovely. Tranquil has a very pleasant atmosphere. The village tour to a tribal community at Kabini was really interesting. Everything we did I would recommend.
We had an absolutely lovely holiday. There was very little damage visible following the cyclone. Our driver was an absolute star.
Just to let you know we are having a wonderful time. We were thrilled this morning to see the Taj in all its magnificence and with NO scaffolding!

The holiday was excellent. I am very pleased with the way your organised it and will recommend you. If we do another trip to India we will certainly do it through you.

We have just returned from the wonderful holiday in Kerala which you arranged for us. We doubt if we could have had a more enjoyable experience. Everything went like clockwork, from the moment we arrived at Gatwick to returning there. The Emirates A380 is one of the best I have flown, with 3” more leg length than BA or Virgin etc.
All the accommodation was first class, and we particularly approved of the environmental policies of the three CGH venues we stayed in. For luxury the Heritage in Madurai would be hard to beat. The crew on the houseboat were very helpful and looked after us well. Our final stay was with Sunil at the Teak House. What an interesting man and what a good host.
We must make special mention of Jess, the driver we had at our disposal for 8 days. Always spot on time, always helpful and very knowledgeable about local vegetation, crops etc. Weather was mostly good except when we caught the edge of the cyclone, which created a couple of days of monsoon like conditions.
Thank you Kerala Connections for a first rate experience.

PS Other travellers on similar tours whom we met were very envious of the very useful booklet you provided.
Your organisation was fantastic with no waiting for anything - all drivers, guides were on time. Cars very comfortable with excellent drivers. Houseboat staff were excellent as was Francis Residence.

We enjoyed the trip very much. Bhainsrorgarth – quite delightful and the best food we had. Jhalwar –in a kind of time capsule - especially the plumbing!! But that is part of its charm. Ahilya Fort – excellent, good service and lovely setting. Ahilya by the Sea (Goa) – slightly marred by the cyclone but nice all the same.
