First of all many, many thanks for organising such a fantastic holiday for us. All your arrangements, pick-ups, drop-offs etc went like clockwork but, unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Air India.
We can tell you of one or two changes in various hotels from the information you gave in your very helpful booklet. Once again, many thanks, it was a truly fabulous holiday and we are already thinking about returning to India again next year (for our seventh visit)!
We had an absolutely amazing holiday - everything was perfect. Every day as a massive adventure. The drivers were so knowledgeable. The whole holiday was totally fabulous - I can't thank you enough.
An excellent holiday for all the family (ranging 21 to 61). Everything was so well organised from the initial booking to the final drop off at the airport. Basil was an excellent driver who had excellent anticipation of the Indian road conditions and adjusted his speed well to suit the conditions. The local agent was also extremely helpful by lending us a local mobile in case we needed to contact someone, and arranging a train ticket for our son who was travelling independently.
Particular highlights for us were: Kayaking and bird watching at Hornbill Camp; our stay at Royal Mist, Munnar; the houseboat. The holiday was well balanced with time in a city, the mountains, on the backwaters and by the sea. Thank you for a splendid holiday.
The Sharp Family
Now safely back after yet another wonderful trip. Hampi Boulders - what a fabulous place, and the most concerned and helpful owners/management. The Serai was undeniably luxurious, however, we found the place a bit soulless. I guess it appeals to a certain type but it wasn't really for us, albeit a perfect stopping point between Hampi and Kannur. On to Chera Rocks, which, as ever, is always a joy and really makes our trips to India. A special mention for Shibu: just the best driver ever. We always feel totally safe with him and thoroughly enjoy his company. Thanks to you for yet another brilliant holiday.
We had an excellent holiday to Mumbai and Kerala and thanks to you for organising it. Mumbai we found very interesting and walked to most places even at night and never felt uneasy or threatened. We enjoyed Cochin – Malabar House is a nice hotel. We were really impressed by Dewalokam. Your choice of houseboat operator is good – we saw some inferior boats. On the flight back we discussed our holiday and thought that we would struggle to imagine any of our friends and relatives on this holiday – but we like challenges. If however, we do hear of anyone thinking of holidaying in Kerala/India we would recommend you without hesitation.
Peter and Ruth took local rickshaws, walked and ate in local restaurants – and it was these experiences that gave them the ‘challenges’ that they mention.
Malcolm and I thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, and we recommended your company to several guests that we met at Coconut Lagoon resort. Speaking of which, we cannot speak highly enough of this place, in particular the reception area manageress, nothing was too much trouble - even arranging excursions to an annual religious festival and allowing a member of staff to accompany us. Thank you for all of your help, it was much appreciated.
This was a terrific trip. We congratulate Kerala Connections on choices of locations and perfect organisation. Well done.

Can’t fault the service provided. Gary Tree’s communication with us was amazing. Everything ran really smoothly while we were away.

We wanted a "responsible" travel agent who cares about the places and environment. When researching on the web, your company had one of the best reviews and also allowed us the flexibility of designing our own trip with friendly good advice and help from Gary (thanks Gary).
Kerry Hughes (Australia)
They had the most amazing holiday, the best ever and really want to return.

Overall we had a fascinating and most enjoyable holiay, and your service was great! We're considering coming back next year, maybe going to Tamil Nadu. And David, who was scared stiff of a new culture and what might go wrong, now loves India and really wants to go back! So many thanks.

Thank you Gary and Diana for helping us plan a wonderful trip. We loved the fact that we stayed in places you would never find in mainstream brochures, and how all the owners knew you. They were wonderful properties, the food was amazing, but what made it so special was the hospitality we received and the personal touches. That is priceless. They were all different but each wonderful in their own way. I would like to particularly mention the A5 tour information you sent us which was really useful and also well-presented and easy to travel with. The section on tipping was extremely useful! It only remains for me to say a big thank you for a wonderful holiday!

It's been a long time since I've been so excited about a trip. This is exactly the way we want to travel. Thanks so much for putting this together for us!
You have been wonderful to work with arranging this trip. Thank you listening to our requests and working so hard to make this a dream trip for us.

Just returned from our 5th holiday to India (4th with Kerala/India Connections). Once again we have experienced wonderful sights. India Connections in UK and TWX in Delhi worked together to provide a fabulous programme. We have completed the Questionnaire online and submitted to you. As you will see we have generally scored very high and thank you once again for listening and compiling such an interesting and absorbing programme. TWX provided a first class professional service looking after everything so well throughout. All drivers were very good but our main driver from Amritsar to Shimla ‘Raju’ was outstanding, warm, friendly and courteous throughout. Ranjit’s Svaasa, Amritsar; Very friendly family hotel. The Golden Temple was mind boggling and we made 2 visits the second at twilight. To see the Wagah border ceremony first hand was amazing. Chonor House, Dharamsala: A lovely hotel with beautiful wall paintings in the bedroom and throughout the place. A terrace restaurant with amazing views. Judges Court, Pragpur: We really loved this place. A grand old Manor with wonderful antiques throughout. The food was fabulous. Clarks Hotel, Shimla: Very comfortable hotel with lovely staff. This was the only place to charge for wifi, at an exorbitant 800 rupees for 24hrs. We would not have missed the toy train ride for anything, 4.5 hours of amazing winding tracks, in a crowded train with lovely people sharing food and chatting. Lemon Tree, Chandigarth: Not much good to say about this place apart from the room which was comfortable and clean - but realise that it was just an overnight stop. Ganga Kinare, Rishikesh: Wow, on being taken to our Ganges facing room with a large window view of the river and mountains and a balcony outside. Very glad you booked such a room. Everything at this hotel was great, staff, food, surroundings. Haveli Hari Ganga, Haridwar: Another excellent hotel and Ganga facing room. The only place we have ever stayed at where they provide sticks to ward off the monkeys. Obviously we had been looking forward to our stay in Haridwar and we were not disappointed. To be there during the Ardh Kumbh Mela and to witness Bathing Day is an experience we will never forget. The sight of thousands of people chanting, praying, bathing will live with us forever. Colonel’s Retreat, Delhi. A most comfortable and friendly guesthouse with nice owners and staff and perfect for the short stay in Delhi before flying home. Lovely rooftop restaurant.
Thank you to everyone, we are sure we will be back.

Just wanted to say thanks for your excellent and detailed advice re the visa for India. I was very glad of it to help me through the form, which took a long time to complete. ETV has come through fine so I'm all set!
Thank you so much for organising the Educational (and extension) to India. It was a very interesting, enjoyable and above, all useful trip, as I now feel much better equipped to sell the destination. The people from both ground agents were impeccable, the drivers and guides excellent – we could not have asked for better service. It also brought home how invaluable it is to book with a reputable company who have the contacts and the knowledge to make everything go like clockwork – the calm amongst the chaos!
We were impressed by the catering on board the train to Agra – a sharp contrast to what we get in the UK! Agra was of course magical and the guide was invaluable. Delhi was an eye-opener and there was so much to see.

David and his wife travelled to India on a tailor-made educational holiday sponsored by us. This kind of trip enables Travel Agents to experience India and learn about the service we offer.
We loved Kerala and our holiday is one of our best. Everything went very smoothly and without problems. All connections were on time. We were kept well informed – excellent. Each element of the holiday was interestingly different and we felt that we saw and enjoyed much of a beautiful country. We shall show all our friends our photos and recommend you to them.

The trekking was amazing and extremely well organised. We had a really great guide. Mountbatten Lodge, Clarkes, Mandir Palace and Tikli Bottom were all wonderful. The drivers and staff were all great. Overall, the best holiday in India yet. Thanks for all your help.
I cannot speak more highly of TWX (the Delhi agent). The rep spoke excellent English and everything was explained fully as soon as we arrived in Delhi. He truly made us feel as if we were being looked after properly and help was never far away. Not that we needed it. Our driver, Jesse, was a lovely man and should also be commended highly. The train journey was great fun and this then brings me onto what was really the highlight of the trip for us. Sher Bargh was the most incredible place I've ever stayed. We were looked after like kings and queens, they upgraded us to a Royal Suite which obviously helped but it is a truly incredible property. We hope to go back one day. We had just the right amount of time in Ranthambore National Park and were lucky enough to see three Tigers!

Diana - I want to tell you that we had a wonderful holiday in Kerala. Probably the best family holiday so far. The arrangements went without a hitch. I would recommend Kerala Connections to anyone. Thank you for all your efforts.
